Chaffee Road Detour in place through April
1/20/2009 - Chaffee Road just north of 103rd Street has been totally closed in both directions since Monday, February 9, and will remain closed through the end of April. This is necessary to reconstruct and realign about 1000 feet of Chaffee Road to tie into S.R. 23 which is currently under construction. This construction will not prevent traffic getting to and from Chaffee Road at the I-10 interchange. However, there is a detour because of the temporary closure of Chaffee Road north of 103rd Street. The detour in both directions uses 103rd Street, Normandy Boulevard and Chaffee Road. We apologize for any inconveniences. However, when this project is finished, it will result in a more direct route on S.R. 23 to I-10.
