Chaffee Road Closed through May 8

4/30/2009 - Chaffee Road just north of 103rd Street is totally closed in both directions through May 8. The closure is necessary to reconstruct and realign about 1000 feet of Chaffee Road to tie into S.R. 23 which is currently under construction. This construction does not prevent traffic getting to and from Chaffee Road at the I-10 interchange. However, a detour is in place because of the temporary closure of Chaffee Road north of 103rd Street. The detour in both directions is 103rd Street to Normandy Boulevard to Chaffee Road. When this project is finished, it will result in a more direct route on S.R. 23 to I-10.
