Project Info
Branan Field-Chaffee Expressway, from Blanding Boulevard (SR 21) to north of Kindlewood Drive, will ultimately consist of a 4-lane limited-access mainline with a frontage road system. This system will contain a northbound and a southbound frontage road, each being 2 lanes, one-way.
This segment includes construction of the frontage roads which will use portions of the existing roadway. The black line on the home page map indicates the existing roadway and the gray lines indicate proposed new construction of the frontage roads.
Both of the frontage roads will terminate just north of Kindlewood Drive in the area of the College Drive Extension. Kindlewood Drive will connect into the northbound frontage road and College Drive Extension.
These frontage roads, the southbound utilizing the existing Branan Field Road and the northbound constructed east of the existing limited access fence, will provide four lanes of roadway connecting Blanding to the mainline roadway of segment 7.
