Project Info
Construction of this segment is not yet funded, but is being designed to:
- expand the existing 2-lane rural roadway to a 4-lane divided limited-access highway
- convert the existing two lanes to southbound travel lanes
- add two new northbound lanes east of the existing roadway
- construct a new parallel (northbound) bridge over Double Branch Slough at the south end of the project
- add a new 2-lane overpass bridge on Plantation Oaks Blvd to carry Plantation Oaks Blvd traffic over the Branan Field-Chaffee Expressway. No access to Branan Field-Chaffee Expressway will be provided. (This overpass is located within this segment, but will be split out into a separate construction project with a new project number.)
